Overview

Down the road from the Russian River in the southern hills of Mendocino County, our expert winemakers crafts powerful yet approachable wines. Starting with meticulous vineyard management and continuing through harvest and fermentation, wines produced at ‘Ray’s Station’ deliver the highest of quality. In addition to our well-known Cabernet and Merlot, we also produce a handful of small-lot wines from hand-selected barrels in our cellar.

 

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator II to join our team. Under general supervision performs order fulfillment, shipping and receiving duties and supports other various warehouse dock functions.

 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Loads and unloads trucks of wine, glass, and other materials
  • Pulls and stages fulfillment orders

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Loads/unloads trucks and completes necessary paperwork
  • Pulls, verifies, palletizes, and stages fulfillment orders
  • Posts all necessary inventory transactions using a handheld device/barcoding; this includes movements, picks, shipments, etc.
  • Cycle count inventory as needed. Participates in annual/bi-annual inventory.
  • Completes all other work or tasks as assigned by manager 

Qualifications

  • Must be highly detail oriented to ensure accuracy of inventory, data, transactions, entries, etc.
  • Demonstrate strong math skills. Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma
  • 2 to 3 years related job experience
  • Valid Forklift Certification with 3+ years of experience

 LANGUAGE SKILLS

Advanced English language skills including ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Advanced communication and exceptional customer service skills a must.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
