  • Overview

    At Clos Pegase we have 410 acres in Napa Valley made up of three vineyards, each with unique characteristics that bring out the very best of the grapes we grow each vintage. By working with these same four vineyards over the decades we have gotten to know the nuances that can be brought out in each wine leading to an unmatched style and level of quality.


    Under general supervision, works closely with Warehouse, Receiving, Material Handling and Bottling to ensure the delivery of glass to support the bottling schedule.  Additionally, coordinates and performs various data management, reconciliation, reporting and entry functions.



    •  Responsible for working with glass suppliers on a daily basis to release glass to meet scheduling objectives. Facilitates communication between bottling, purchasing, and planning to ensure glass is available to meet scheduled needs.
    • Receives all glass into inventory and controls glass inventory. Work with warehouse staff to ensure bottling lines are properly supplied with glass.
    • Enters all production data into NAV and generates reports and data as needed. Reconciles all released production orders and approves to be closed by finance at month end.
    • Manages schedule of all inbound and outbound shipping. Enter all sales and transfer orders to create BOLs to support outbound shipping. Maintain all files and documentation.
    • Provides support to WH Supervisor and Material Handler for all inventory functions to include; sales orders, pulling reports, cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, physical inventory
    • Acts as primary administrative support and back up for material handling and warehouse.
    • Provides back up support for Production Orders, Advanced Warehousing and Bulk Wine
    • Responsible for warehouse management duties in absence of Warehouse Supervisor
    • All other duties as assigned.



    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and NAV
    • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a dynamic & changing fast-paced environment
    • Must be a self-starter with ability to complete activities with minimal direction
    • Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow through on projects with minimal supervision in a timely manner
    • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with management and other departments on-site, including the home office in Santa Rosa, and other wineries owned by VWE
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Professional “can do” attitude and a strong work ethic
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner



    • Ability to sit, operate a computer keyboard, telephone and other equipment, read, talk and hear for extended periods of time
    • Ability to climb up and down stairs and ability to walk on uneven terrain
    • Ability to work a regular shift, and Saturdays during grape harvest
    • Conditions in the winery can be cold, wet, slippery and often noisy
