    Vintage Wine Estates is a dynamic, growing organization,  seeking a Financial Data Analyst to join our team at our Headquarters location. We are looking for individuals who have a strong work ethic with attention to detail, who are team players and quick learners in a fast-paced environment. Vintage Wine Estates, Inc. is a collection of vintner family-owned winery estates and brands based in Santa Rosa, California. We are an industry leader across all sales channels and dedicated to providing wine consumers with a range of wine selections from $10 to $100 dollars. 


    Reporting to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Financial Data Analyst is responsible for guiding profitability growth by providing analytical support for key business decisions.  This position has a high level of interaction across all functional areas of the organization and thus requires excellent communication skills along with an understanding of consumer-packaged goods manufacturing business, preferably wine industry focused.  Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a can-do attitude.




    • Financial Reporting – distribute and review monthly budget variance reports with department managers
    • Department/Business Unit Analysis – distribute and review monthly department/business unit level budget variance reports with department managers
    • Monthly Statements – prepare and maintain monthly case volume data
    • Annual Budget and Rolling Forecast – assist with compilation of annual companywide budget and rolling forecast; interacting closely with department managers to ensure accurate and timely budget submissions
    • Pricing – work closely with Sales & Marketing team members to maintain updated pricing by item in NAV software; communicate all pricing updates to compliance on a weekly basis
    • Annual Audit – provide reporting and reconciliation support during annual audit performed by CPA firm



    • Advanced capabilities with Excel and other spreadsheet tools
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and team members
    • Must be intellectually curious, and driven to dig in and analyze the cause of variances
    • Ability to influence without authority
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize within a dynamic environment
    • Self-starter capable of building analysis from ambiguous information with high attention to detail




    • Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance
    • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred
